Thanks again, George! Sorry I’m getting back to you so late!… I don’t check back on the ol’ Muddlecreek comments that often now that it’s over.
One of the thing readers may or may not have noticed, is that I sort of referenced the very first panel in the very first Muddlecreek strip in panel 4, here.

I’ve always appreciated how supportive you’ve been of Muddlecreek.
My wife was also disappointed that it was ending… she loves Oslo!
I hope you’ll check out the new one. I’m pretty enthusiastic about it.

I wanted to try something that let me stretch my legs a bit more as an artist, and I felt a bit constrained by the style of Muddlecreek. As I write this, I have about 9 weeks worth of strips ready to go for Bunny Wiggins. The art has evolved quite nicely, if I do say so myself! It’s more comic bookish, a little more epic, and it’s not necessarily gag a day.

I have another idea for a website where I’ll post different gag comics… maybe some new Whalebone… and some new strips with Oslo & Molly, and another new strip I’m working on… (I have about 9 weeks of that done as well)…. and another more topical comic I have an idea for. But I also may ask my webcomic friends if they’d like to do a guest comic or two for it. I’ll keep everyone posted.

I won’t lie, I was disappointed when I heard you were wrapping up Muddlecreek. However, because you said a new project was in the works, I decided to just sit and watch things evolve. When I read that your doing a “Bunny Wiggins” comic, I felt a wave of “yippeee” come over me. That dastardly wabbit deserves more screen time!
